Old saying goes like....God is graceful. Yes I believe he is, for me at least. Studying at NITIE made me realize that. I remember the auspicious day I entered NITIE, my eyes were glittering in the night seeing the scenic beauty, I was awestruck watching the greenery every where in the campus, hard to believe I was still in Mumbai. And of course how can I forget writing about the NITIE lake, it was an eye candy, seemed hard to turn your eyes around to see any other thing. The plethora of beauty turns this place into God's own campus.
The interaction with the seniors was an awesome experience, more than I, they were concerned about making my stay beautiful. The work done in the first five days was more than the work done in my whole two and half years of work experience :). Hard work of our seniors paid off, now I have a habit of staying awake the whole night. But till then we had not seen enough. It was when Dr. Prasad entered the class, the out of the world excitement began when he asked every student to leave the chairs and made them sit on the floors. This was an altogether different and a new experience, haven't seen professor sitting on the floors with the students. That time I realized something exciting is going to happen in the next 2 hours. And I was right!
He changed my perception of entering in one of the most economical B-school of our country and made me realize the worth of every penny I spend here. His words were like the gospel truth when he told that "earning while learning" will make my MBA complete. And "Mandi" is the path that would make that happen. And then every word of his just started making sense. The idea of selling small educational goods in the streets of Mumbai was in itself a tantalizing one.
His method of teaching is totally novel and awesome. He made every engineer in us feel like a school going kid when the good minds of our class failed to explain the simple concept of Physics present in a small toy.
Well there will always be an ample amount of knowledge we need to learn, be it small or big. Now I don't have to be concerned about my fun filled journey here, I believe the classes of Mr. "Mandi" would cater to that. Hope to see classes like that happening again and again!

ReplyDeletegreat job.
ReplyDeleteFeel like being and college campus again.
ReplyDeleteMBA fever is on you man.
ReplyDeleteSee through your feelings actually you are selling
NITIE world. :):)
Earning while Learning is different than Learning by earning. I believe in Learning by Earning (Not earning while learning ).
ReplyDelete- In earning while learning... Example Computer Engg. student does Dish washing in a hotel / Attendant in petrol bunk and learn computer engg.
- In Learning by Earning .. Computer engg student must sell computing and makes money: Hotel management students must make money by dish washing..and Petro chemical student make money by working in petrol bunk..
- Americans are proud of Learning while Earning. I feel that may not be effective way ! !
